naegi and kirigiri adopt a cat: the musical
naegi is the one who has a lot of fun playing with the cat and god he talks to himself out loud a LOT over the course of dr so he probably goes from that to having full conversations with the cat. hes only mildly embarrassed when kirigiri walks in on this because it happens so often. the cat couldnt care less and just attacks his (probably untied) shoelaces
kirigiri isnt really an animal person but she takes well to the new cat friend because it sits in her lap sometimes and doesnt really bother her and if no one is watching she will take off her gloves to pet it and this cat totally loves kirigiri so shes pretty down with it after a while
the cat also does typical catlike things like sleeping on their bed and being impossible to remove or jumping directly on top of whatever one of them is working on or pawing at the door and meowing loudly when someone is showering
and also. lots and lots of cat fur. fur on goddamn everything naegi keeps finding cat fur in places it should be impossible for a cat to even reach. kyouko please help youre a detective how does the cat fur get inside of the top cabinet
